I seem to have lost my sitting trot……
Of course to lose something I suppose you have to have it to begin with…..
I had some fairly major abdominal surgery a couple of months ago………
And I think when they were removing the offensive things I didn’t need……
they accidentally took out my sitting trot too………..
It’s been missing in action ever since…..
Which is……….a bit of a problem……….
Have you ever searched the internet for “how to” videos on sitting the trot?
Because, of course, that’s the first thing you do when you’ve lost your sitting trot……..
at least if you’re Bad Eventer…

In my complete and total frustration, I asked my fearless leader what to do…………
Afterall I have one of those super fancy BOUNCY warmbloods, and I couldn’t sit HIS trot BEFORE my surgery.
So……… “How on earth do I sit his trot?????”
The reply, “Um……for now …….on him……..I think you should just omit sitting.”

Well that's odd. The other day, I seemed to have suddenly found one (no, I didn't develop it, I just found it in the back pasture). Is there any chance that this is your lost sitting trot? I can hold on to it until you stop by and determine whether or not it is yours.
If you find it, let me know where? I've been looking for mine for YEARS (and years and years and years).
You know, I once had major abdominal surgery… I spent more time finding my sitting *anything* (not just trot) than any other aspect of healing. I climbed (backpacking) a mountain before I found any semblance of sitting trot again!
However, I think your onto something with the 'willpower theory.'
