I knew it was our last show together.

I had gone back & forth 100 times on whether I wanted to jump or not.

And because it was our last competition – I wanted to win it!

No pressure.

I had basically decided before hand that I would withdraw after dressage, but I had reserved the right to change my mind.

We had the best dressage test of our career.

It was the WINNING test in an open division with the likes of Clayton & Leslie as competition.

And then I had to decide, to jump or not to jump.

We were winning.

But my last XC memory is perfect in every way.

We blasted around a big tricky Prelim course in fantastic form & I have the helmet cam video to prove it.

TheWonderPony doesn’t owe me anything & after putting in the best test……

with the judges comment “Lovely Partnership!”

I decided to hang up our green bonnet.

We won the dressage!!!!

And then I withdrew.
