Stopping in NO WHERE Arkansas for fuel.
This gas station looked like something straight out of a scary movie. The little old woman behind the counter asked if the car in the parking lot was with us.
We looked out and there was a mint green sports car with an “interesting” looking man leaning way back in the seat.
When we let her know he wasn’t with us, she said,” Way-ell….. I better git ready for ’em then” as she pulls out a SHOT GUN as big as she was!
Then she says, “He jus’ don’t know what I’ve got waitin’ !!”
We high tailed it out of there promptly.

Getting a text message from WonderPony.
He said he was watching dressage at Rolex on an iphone with the Bad Eventer Working Student, and that I’d better take him next year!

Hanging out with Ronald Zabala Goetschel drinking wine and watching fantastic videos of his WiseGuy clones.
Bad Eventer just may have been persuaded to buy a new saddle for E.T (that’s short for the Evil Twin.) At the last show after his clear XC run the Bad Event Groom said “E.T. phoned home!!!”
Ronald joked after his rather wet cross country ride that he’d be coming out with a WATER PROOF version of his Wise Equestrian saddles!!
What a nice, fun, and funny guy. In true Bad Eventer fashion he was making jokes about the bath he took at the biggest 3 day event in North America. After visiting with him I really want to go hang out with him at his farm and play with his super cool horses!! What do you think Ronald?? An invite for Bad Eventer???

Dinner at Ramsey’s
For the record, I could eat Fried Green Tomatoes until I developed solanine poisoning. (OK, so maybe it’s a myth that green tomatoes are toxic, but that’s what I learned in 8th grade science class and I’m sticking to it. For the myth busters out there it really is true that green potatoes are toxic!)
