Having been “absolved” of my previous trakehner phobia……..

It seems my fear of corners is becoming rather legendary. Today, I got a note from a wonderful person I met at a show once, almost a year ago. While talking about something else completely, she mentioned that every time she sees a corner jump she thinks of me!

Seems my corner issue made a big impression!!

Corners come in a pretty big variety of shapes and sizes……………

I recently completed my first Prelim.

Corner and all.

 And while I’m still buzzing from actually getting it done………..(only a dream since childhood) my knees have already started to shake about the next one.

The next one has a bigger corner………..a lot bigger…………..

But I’m having dreams about it.

My lovely horse…………the Precious Flower that she is………..

is not fond of corners.

She tends to pull stunts like this…..

My instructor insists that it’s my problem not hers……………..

OK then.

If that’s true! Then surely I can overcome this in time for the show!

I will meditate

and pray

……………and probably drink heavily…………..

In the mean time, we have the always handy TARP CORNER to practice with.

If my trusty pony will jump THAT monster, the real one will be a piece of cake!

Yep – Bad Eventer is going Prelim…………..again!
